Tyler Dinis

Designer

Tyler assists in drawing, planning, and designing various project types.

He creates digital plans based on architectural sketches, submits plans to receive city permits, visits construction sites, oversees contractors, and communicates with clients to best serve their needs. In the office, he is the go-to person for 3D printing—everything from scale models to Christmas ornaments.

In his spare time, he likes to drum, workout, read, and take his truck to the Pismo Dunes. He also caught the travel bug and has traveled to Italy, Gibraltar, Spain, France, Portugal, and London, but wants to go back to Rome for more architectural inspiration.

Education & Certifications

Tyler received an Associate of Science in Architecture from College of the Sequoias and a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Construction Management from NewSchool of Architecture and Design, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He was also a Tau Sigma Delta Honors Society Member. Tyler won 1st Place at the 2015 AIASJ Student Design Competition for the Selma Police Headquarters, and 2nd Place at the 2015 COS Design Competition for the Hanford Campus Courtyard.

Favorite PHA project

“Madera County 3rd Floor T.I. was the first project in my career that I took from beginning to end. I met with the client to determine their needs, sketched ideas for the new plan layout, created digital construction documents, wrote the specifications book, and saw the entire project through construction. It was an important stepping stone and a learning opportunity that advanced my knowledge greatly.”
