MIXED USE: Fulton Park | Fresno, CA | Unbuilt

Fulton Park was an initial study for a mixed-use project at the prominent intersection of Broadway, Fulton, and Divisadero in downtown Fresno. The site is situated close to the freeway and marks the “entrance” to the Mural District. The program included 3.46 acres, 44 residential units, 40,000 square feet of retail/commercial space, garages, surface parking, community space, and a plaza on the street. The site occupies a strategic location at the intersection of significant vehicular thoroughfares and offers visibility for a signature project that has the ability to set the tone for future innovative development in the area.  This study led to the realization of the Iron Bird (executed by others) - a mixed used project that has established that there is a market for contemporary, forward thinking high density mixed-use development in downtown Fresno.
